David Cameron is the founder and managing partner of David Cameron Law Office, an independent Hong Kong law firm focused on corporate, transactional, regulatory and investment-related matters.

David has more than 18 years of experience advising clients in Hong Kong and across Asia on corporate transactions, private investments, fund structures, capital raising and cross-border matters. His practice focuses on providing commercially grounded, solutions-oriented advice to founders, investors, funds, family offices and growth-stage businesses.
Before founding the firm in 2021, David worked at leading international law firms including Linklaters and Allen & Overy, and was later recruited as a partner at Dorsey & Whitney. He has advised on transactions involving international financial institutions, private capital, emerging companies and cross-border counterparties across a range of industries and jurisdictions. ​
David is admitted as a solicitor in Hong Kong and as an attorney in New York. He holds a JD from the University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School, an MBA from The Wharton School and an MA from the Lauder Institute. He moved to Hong Kong in 2008 and has spent his entire legal career practising in the Hong Kong market.
